Do you feel the need to refrain yourself from forcefully reading one of your friend’s posts in your Facebook News Feed? However you are conflicted to unfriend him or her possibly because you don’t want to sever the only connection you have left (though virtual). All those who have tread the plains of Facebook had already experienced this one way or another. For whatever reason, we wish somehow we can do this to some of our “friends.” Luckily, there is a way and it is easy to do.
Step 1
Log in to Facebook and find the profile page of your friend that you want to remove from your news feed.
Step 2
In your friend’s Timeline is the Friends button. It is located at the right hand side, under the Cover. Hover over it and a drop down menu will appear:
Step 3
Click the Show in News Feed option to uncheck it. After this, your friend will no longer be visible in your News Feed without having to actually unfriend him/her.
Congrats? Yep, definitely.
Alternatively…
If you want to hide just one particular post and not all of the person’s posts then just hover over the story (the post) on the News Feed. A small arrow icon at the top right will appear. Click it and press Hide.
